To upload to your website you can use File Transfer Protocol (FTP) or Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP). To use FTP you can simply use any FTP client available. We recommend CuteFTP. They have both a client for Mac and Windows. Visit http://www.cuteftp.com to download the FTP client. They also have a version called CuteFTP Pro that supports SFTP if you wish to upload your web site using Secure FTP.
If you are comfortable with command line, you can also simply use FTP commands from the Command Line Interface (CLI). If you are using DreamWeaver or some other Content Management tool, simply select FTP as your upload method. If you want to build a robust site, we recommend that you use other tools, such as DreamWeaver, to create and manage your content.
Alternative methods of managing content on your site can be achieved by using a Content Management System (CMS). Muntada provides free installation of several CMS. If you want some ideas on other alternatives, contact us. We can come up with a great Content Management Solution for you.
